Memories

March 4th, 2010 by aj

Hi guys and gals, it’s been awhile already since I have posted a blog here. Almost 4 months if I were not mistaken. Anyway, we had a lot of memories from the day I left this blog. A lot of things happened, we went off to Manila and Bohol for relaxation, had a fight because of misunderstandings, we had our Christmas vacation with our families respectively, witnessed Sinulog 2010 in Cebu City, my birthday blast celebration, Chinese New Year happened to fall on Valentines Day, and finally, our home sweet home. Whoa! I really mean A LOT! :)

How do I start with? Hmm. Summarize would not be bad at all as long as I have shared with you our feelings and memories. Okay, here goes. Manila Trip was last November 28, 29, and 30, 2009 with JP, Karen (my sister), and me. Our main purpose? To visit Enchanted Kingdom. Yipeee! Lots of fun. You may want to check our photos at http://aljayne.multiply.com/photos/album/16/Manila_Trip_-_November_28_-_30_2009. We also had the time to see my elder sister and shared our laughter together. Three-day vacation is not enough; however, it is all worth it. We all enjoyed and had fun. Maybe next time, we could spend more time in exploring one place. Right hon? LOL.

Next trip was off to Bohol last December 12 and 13, 2009. But this time, only the two of us. We went there with nothing. What I mean for nothing is that we were not able to organized our trip well. We do not have exact place to stay, we do not know where to go with that 2-day trip only. Despite that, it was still one of the best things that happened to us coz this was the time wherein we both spent time together, felt the air from the beach, saw butterflies and tarsiers, enjoyed the foods in the Loboc River Cruise, etc. But what I really enjoyed was budgeting our money. I was so scared that we may run out of money while JP was so confident. Anyhow, all things went well though. (For photos, you may visit http://jpandaj4ever.multiply.com/photos/album/7/Bohol_Trip_-_December_12_and_13)

After few days, we went to our own home to celebrate Christmas season with our family. Constant communication made us alive and filled the absence of missing each other’s company. And finally, after New Year, we went back to Cebu. Not so long, we witnessed the Sinulog 2010 with JP’s parents. T’was my second time to witnessed Sinulog festival, and hoping it won’t be the last. Crossing my fingers. Indeed, I enjoyed watching talented Filipinos especially the youth. I got the chance to see in person some celebrities like Melissa Ricks, Matt Evans, Heart Evangelista, Claudine Barretto, Bong Revilla, Vice Ganda, etc. What I don’t like during that festival was walking in the streets due to heavy traffic and some roads were closed. Wow. After that, no interesting happened in January.

Here comes February 2010. Guess what? My 24th Birthday. Yes, you are reading it right. I am 24 already. Old enough, huh?! Uh-uh! Still young, young at heart. Hehe. Well, I just attended mass and had a simple celebration at home in Cebu sponsored by my parents and JP. It happened that my parents and sisters were not around to celebrate with me. Despite their absence, they never failed to let me feel that they are there and JP and my brother did their best so that I will enjoy my day. Luckily, I enjoyed. Thanks to both of them. :) The February celebration was not yet over. Few days after, we celebrated Chinese New Year and at the same time, Valentines Day. Simple celebration as long as were together - me, JP, my brother, his girlfriend.

Finally, the most awaited moment. Our home sweet home. We went home last March 2010. Just recently. Unbelievable. After more than a year, we have decided to go back home and left Cebu. A hard decision for both of us for we gained and shared lots of memories. Memories which we can never forget and will always remain in our hearts. It was really hard for us because we consider the consequence of missing each other’s company. Hey, we know that this is just the beginning of our new life, our new step of life. And we will fight for it to attain all our dreams. :)

That’s all folks. I hope you enjoyed reading this blog. I will keep you posted. Have a nice day!

“Communicate and collaborate in real time”

November 14th, 2009 by jaypee
Google Wave

What is Google Wave? It is a personal communication and collaboration tool announced by Google at the Google I/O conference last May 27, 2009. It is a web-based service, computing platform, and communications protocol designed to merge e-mail, instant messaging, wikis, and social networking.

I was amazed when I watched their demo. One of their features is a real-time chat or live transmission, what I mean is when you are still typing, the other user can read already what you are typing.  Unlike yahoo chat, the user can only read after hitting the send button. The user can see edits and interact with extensions in real-time. You can also use “playback” to rewind the wave and see how it evolved. How brilliant eh?

Watch their long video to see more demos that are amazing. http://wave.google.com/help/wave/about.html#video

Long Awaited Moment

November 8th, 2009 by aj

This is it! This is really it! Few more days to go and it’s the BIG DAY! After stressful days of work, we came to the point that we too, need rest. We planned well especially the budget on our future trip and that will happen in 20 days from now. Just today, I can’t believe that this will really happen for we already bought our plane ticket. I do not understand how I feel today, it’s like, uhmm, I really can’t! In short, it’s unexplainable. So many things to plan and prepare for our trip. We both want it to be the best.

I was so blessed to have “HIM” in my life, not because of what and who he is, but because indeed, his love for me is real and so true. Despite of busyness of our life, we still see to it that we have time for each other. Nothing and no one can ever separate us. We were born in this world and destined for each other. We believed that BRO plans everything for us. :)

Guys and gals, keep reading our blogs and enjoy! We will be updating you of our so-called fun moment trip with my sister, Karen.

2nd Year Anniversary

September 21st, 2009 by aj

2 years of being together, 2 years of knowing each other’s strengths and weaknesses, 2 years of celebrating our love. Yes, it has been 2 years already since we exchanged our feelings for each other.

September 16 was like an ordinary day for us — woke up and got ready for work, did all our task for the day. But despite our busyness in life, we still managed to have time for each other especially that it was our anniversary. We had a fine dinner at Lamesa Grill, SM Northwing, and indeed, it was great! The foods were delicious! Their service was superb! To sum it all, a perfect place. Sulit! You will never regret on it. Then, we headed home. I mean, I headed home and JP went off to the hospital to watched over Christine who was admitted just the other night. A short time for the celebration but it was worth it.

We extended our celebration last Sunday with JP’s friends. We had our food trip and shared memories together. Then, just this afternoon, we watched Whiteout. The movie was not that exciting, it was quite boring. But anyway, as long as we’re together, then it will be all worthy. :)

Cagayan Festival ‘09

September 12th, 2009 by aj

We had our post fiesta celebration last August 29 and 30, 2009 and at the same time, a so-called “bonding moments” with my family and JP. A moment where we shared our laughter and memories together with the people closest to our hearts — and that’s MY FAMILY.

We left Cebu City last August 28, 2009 at 20:00 with JP and Aldrin, my brother, and arrived Cagayan de Oro early morning the next day. When we arrived home, milk beverage for each of us was served by my beloved mother. She then prepared breakfast for all of us. An extension of celebrating fiesta occurred during lunch time. Christine was luckily assigned in Cagayan de Oro for work, or was it intentional? LOL! Just kidding! Actually, we had an agreement a month before the festival that we will be going to Cagayan “para mamista”. Hahaha! We then took a rest for awhile before going out and explore new things that we need to know to keep us updated as well. Before doing the “laag” moments, we bought tickets for our trip back to Cebu the next day. Good thing we bought earlier (or were just lucky enough that there were still vacant tourist accommodation for four of us — me, my brother, JP, and Christine) coz it was “almost” fully booked. Then, we went off to Limketkai Mall, stroll around, ate snacks, and waited for Kenneth (my sister’s boyfriend). We also tried to enter the carnival near Limketkai and rode the octopus look-alike thingy. I forgot the name, it’s like a space jet or an octopus or whatever it is, we did enjoyed! We also watched the “Wall of Death” that makes us scared. If you were there, you would not know how or what you feel. It’s like it will get out of the wall and hit you. OMG! But that was indeed cool.

Jaypee

Unfortunately, we were not able to explore the carnival that much due to sudden rain. We ate dinner at Tapsi Time, Divisoria where we ordered Chicken and Pork Adobo. JP is craving for it since last year. At long last, he finally ate that food. LOL! Then we walked around the night cafe and proceed to Joystick Lounge where JP enjoyed much. He was deeply serious in playing Left For Dead. At least, one way of relaxing from stress and pressures.

On August 30, 2009, Sunday, JP went to our house for lunch. My father cooked one of my favorite food - crab. Yummy! It seems that fiesta was not yet over. We enjoyed eating together with my family. Then, we went off to SM.

Our short stay in Cagayan was indeed fun and memorable. Wish we could have like this for a longer time. Thanks for reading and ’till next adventure. :)
